Supporting Our Neighbor - Temple Chaverim

St. Margaret's was recently contacted by Temple Chaverim. Because of all the recent threats targeting the Jewish community, the temple is putting a Disaster Preparedness Plan in place. Part of the plan requires that in the case of a bomb scare or other similar emergency, the Rabbi and/or school Principal must evacuate the children to another location. The temple asked whether St. Margaret's would serve as the safe location for the children in the event the Temple needs to evacuate its premises. This request was reviewed and approved by the vestry. This is just one way we are supporting our local community.
