REFLECTION FROM THE PEW - NOVEMBER

Hoping to See You at Sunday Worship!

With attendance being low on many Sundays, I’ve sometimes wondered if it matters whether or not we have a rector. But I believe it does matter. It’s been many months since Mother Jennifer left, and we’ve certainly been blessed to have Fr. Woodrum as our supply priest. He has helped us in so many ways to fill the void, and we are grateful for his faithfulness.

Some questions to ponder: With God at the top, shouldn’t our focus be there as well? Are we forgetting that, even without a permanent rector, we should be worshipping God each Sunday together as a parish? Can we make time to come together and pray for direction for the good of our beloved St. Margaret’s Church?

Coming together each week for one hour to offer praise, honor and glory to Father, Son and Holy Spirit as we partake in the celebration of Holy Eucharist is certainly a reachable goal. Every member of the body of Christ is important and needed. Will you recommit to Sunday worship and working together to strengthen our Christian community?
