Outreach - Splish Splash It's Time for Haiti Summer Camp!
Thanks to your generous donations, it has been a banner year for CCCC. We were able to continue serving the community even when schools were closed, providing a level of stability to the community we serve. As usual, we will close out the year with our annual summer camp and the latest edition of 4C-Genie, the live radio competition that we co-sponsor each summer.
Our all-inclusive seven-day summer camp is back. We endeavor to provide workshops in the arts, music, theater, dance, and sports, led by professional in Haiti. This year’s camp will be held at the historical site of Fort Drouet in the mountains of Délices. Please pray for a successful experience as this is our first venture outside of our usual location in Montrouis.
In addition, for the first time this year, we will launch an all-intensive summer music program. We will have music teachers from the well-known Holy Trinity School of Music in Port-au-Prince for 2 weeks with our music students in Cazale. Throughout this music camp, the students will have time for a unique opportunity to expand their knowledge, performance skills and practice their instruments.
We have not turned away a single child for financial reasons and we welcome your sponsorship in order to continue providing this service regardless of ability to pay. Camp is CCCC’s most popular offering that the kids talk about year-round. The seven-day camp costs only $100 per camper, but it is a prohibitive cost nonetheless for the local population.
Thank you for your many years of support through donations, volunteering and sponsorships. We look forward to your continued support to improve the lives of the children we serve.
Thank you!
