Good news for St. Margaret’s and the Community!
Maple 101, this Saturday, Oct. 24 at 10:30 am and 1 pm, will be an outdoor, fun, good-for-all-ages talk and demonstration. Learn to identify maple trees to make your own syrup and discover the fascinating science, history, math, geography and Native American lore surrounding this sweet treat. Saturday's weather is scheduled to be nice, with a high of 69 degrees.
There will be a free-will offering, plus maple-themed and "2020-Recovery Pampering Delights" raffle baskets. St. Margaret's Episcopal Church is at 1000 Washington Avenue in Plainview, NY. All are welcome.
Note: We will be social distancing. Masks are required.
