HIGH TEA REPORT - JUNE

And what a Tea it was! There was a wonderful turnout in May, with close to 50 “young and younger” ladies enjoying this special afternoon. It is with gratitude to Almighty God for all who made this day possible – not only our delightful guests – but the ladies who were involved in many ways to bring this all together. The “afternoon tea faire” was lovingly prepared, deliciously presented and thoroughly enjoyed.

The combination of ticket sales, donations and raffle sales brought the 2016 High Tea proceeds to $2,064. This fundraising effort will benefit St. Margaret’s Capital Fund, and we will also make an outreach donation to Developmental Disabilities Institute (DDI). In addition, the “corner shops” provided an opportunity for many to make lovely purchases – and this, in turn, benefitted the shopkeepers’ outreach recipients.
