GREETINGS FROM JIREH CHURCH

THANK YOU!

Looking back over the past year at St. Margaret’s, we of the Long Island Jireh Church, who worship here have many warm feelings. From its comforting sanctuary – not too big and not too small – and its friendly parishioners who have invited us, we feel welcome.

As we drive up each Sunday, we are greeted by trees lining the property along Washington Avenue, a more rural than typically suburban lane. Accessible, yet relatively quiet, we enter the property surrounded by its spacious lawns and bordered by more trees. It gives us a feeling of relaxing calm. It encourages contemplation and inner peace and, of course, prayer. We leave St. Margaret’s refreshed.

Over the past 12 months, our congregation has grown as we have grown comfortable. We enjoyed sharing your 55th anniversary service and the Fall Fair. We hope to share more experiences in the coming year. And we wish all of St. Margaret’s a blessed and joyous Christmas season!

God bless all.
