Sharing coffee hour after church is a great way to meet the crowd!

Sunday Coffee Hours are an enjoyable way to spend an hour or so with the others you have worshipped with earlier that morning. Will you think about signing up to be a host? The upcoming months have many open Sundays as of this writing.

Being a host is pretty easy …

  • Coffee and hot water is usually made ahead of time, so you do not have to worry about that. You just need to bring milk and/or a coffee creamer, and some juice or punch for the non-coffee drinkers.
  • A tray containing sugar, sweeteners, tea bags and stirrers is kept in the cabinet and is already to use. AND, the cutlery and napkins are in a “caddy” which is also ready to be placed on the serving table. The paper goods you’ll need are in the well-stocked kitchen cabinets.
  • Food: You may bring whatever you’d like for the buffet table. To help you along if you’re not sure, here’s a few suggestions: Coffee cake; donuts; cookies; bagels/rolls/ breads with spreads: butter, plain or flavored cream cheese, egg salad, jam or peanut butter; fruit; cheese and crackers … these are only suggestions! The fun of being a host is that you can bring and do whatever you want!

Please check the sign-up sheet in the kitchen area and pick a date or two that would work best for you. Be assured, I will be happy to answer any questions and/or to “work” alongside you especially if you’re unfamiliar with hosting.

For those who take part in hosting regularly, thank you so much!
