INTERFAITH THANKSGIVING SERVICE
Tuesday, Nov. 20 at 7 p.m. at the Sikh Gurdwara in Plainview, NY

The 2018 Plainview/Old Bethpage annual Interfaith Thanksgiving service will be Tuesday, Nov. 20, at the Sikh temple at 1065 Old Country Road. This ecumenical gathering brings the local faith communities together to offer thanks for all the blessings of this life. The temple has a room in the entrance for you to leave your shoes and to take a head-covering if you don’t have one of your own. Dinner will be served in the lower hall (there is an elevator) following the service. Please note: The exact time is unknown as of this writing, but we traditionally start at 7 p.m.

THANKSGIVING AT ST. MARGARET’S EPISCOPAL CHURCH

You are invited to ask your family and friends to start their Thanksgiving morning giving thanks for God’s bounty. It’s a time to acknowledge that all we have comes from God, and likewise to be inspired toward greater generosity in our Christian lives.
