ST. MARGARET'S 2019 FALL FAIR: SAT., SEPT. 21
SIGN UP FOR A COMMITTEE — YOUR HELP IS NEEDED!
This year’s fair will take on an international flavor, as St. Margaret’s continues to explore ways to connect with the community around us. Since food is a great way to introduce people to new cultures, we’re expanding our approach to food vendors. We’ll also welcome back last year’s exciting Japanese Tai Ko drummers and Filipino community dancers. Veronica Gibson, Christie Ginson and Janet Lucas have joined the advertising team – and we need everyone to think about ways to be of help. As always, your “Attic Treasures” are needed, so please start gathering items you no longer use, and jewelry you no longer wear to donate to the Fair.
We need help with planning, making gift baskets, getting raffle prizes, entertainment, baking, setup, cleanup and more. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year, and we count on it to support our operating budget. Most of all, we count on YOU to volunteer to help in whatever way you can!

Continue soliciting from local stores and restaurants. Solicitation letters are in the Narthex.

Our auction baskets are getting more attention each year, and we’re actively collecting items and beginning to assemble them. If you have anything new to donate, please do so. We can make almost anything work, and we are so grateful for all kinds of contributions! Spring cleaning is a great time to forward gifts you don’t need or use so others can enjoy them. To all those who are creating their own baskets, or donating money toward them, we can’t thank you enough! Because it takes time to set everything up, we’ll need all donated baskets in by Sept. 10. It takes each and every member of St. Margaret’s working together to make our biggest fundraiser of the year a success.
Our returning co-chairs for 2018 are Barbara Archer, Maureen Dilworth and Terry Padyk. Baskets again are being co-ordinated by Kathy Blyman.
