DID YOU KNOW .... MAY
A little of this and that ...
… That you can extend our outreach efforts just by talking with people? Barbara Festa mentioned to a financial counselor at Fidelity that her church supports Food Not Bombs and St. Ignatius Food Pantry with donations of clothing, food and baby formula. The counselor sent out a memo to her co-workers, and Barbara has been called three times to pick up carloads of donations. Your voice can make a difference in the community! Thank you, Barbara!
… On March 19, parishioners gathered together after the service to enjoy a delightful and delicious Irish Coffee Hour in the Undercroft – Thank you to hosts Jane Ames and the Hills and Marshall-Zappala families.
… The Wardens, Vestry, Staff and Lay Leaders, in the true spirit of St. Margaret’s, have done an amazing job in the absence of a rector!
… Seven of St. Margaret’s young people are looking forward to having the parish family share their special day as they are Confirmed by Bishop Wolf on May 7?
… “Lunch Bunch” is open to everyone the third Wednesday of each month -- simply pack a brown bag lunch and head on over to the Undercroft at noon to chat and laugh together!
… Non-perishables are needed each week to stock the Food Basket – can you help?
… The “Coffee Hour Sign-up Sheet” still has upcoming Sundays open and in need of hosts!
… The new Forward Day-by-Day (daily meditations) is available in the tract rack in the Narthex!
